Schools Out for Seth and Lexi

YEE HAW!!!

Summer is in full swing for these 2. Tanner and Rachael have to wait longer for the last day of school. Tanner goes until the last day of June because he is on year round and Rachael is done June 6th.

This weekend Seth brought a friend to 'Gramma's' house. Tucker was a good guest. He was helpful and kind. He learned about people with disabilities and isn't scared of Mark anymore.

Lexi and Rachael were teenagers...oh yeah!! They washed their hair before the fire pit...it was dirty and smelly before, I wonder what they called it after??? It turned out to be a bummer day for Rachael, she got sick and spent the rest of the weekend with a flu bug...

The boys played most of the time. They jumped on the tramp, got soap and made it slippery with water and swimsuits... it was funny to watch them slip and slide.

They all got to go to the movies and see the latest in the "Pirates" trilogy. Seth said it was 'great' and had to tell him mom all the good parts. Sorry he ruined it for you, Dawn!!

The girls went over to Holly's to give her a break from kids for a few hours. They took the kids to the park just across the street (while Gramma took a nap).

Sunday for dinner we had a fire pit. Tucker was very good to help chop the wood small for kindling. As the fire got to the hot coal stage they got their sticks and put their dinner of hot dogs on the fire to roast them. No sooner did they eat their hot dogs did they want to 'roast' marshmallows... Seth likes them blackened... guess like burnt. S'mores were enjoyed by all except myself, and I just ate a ton of lightly browned marshmallows... Yummy Yummy !!!

It was a good weekend, but Gramma and Poppie were so ready for quiet time when it came to an end. Not that we don't love our Grand children, but they are so busy and we get a ton of exercise when they come to visit.

A Trip to the Barn, Again...

Lex was here for the weekend and we made a trip to the BARN...

We loaded the van with all our Christmas Decor and other tubs of decorations...it was piled to the roof and stuffed full.

Such a relief to get it out of the garage and now I can work on getting the extras out of the house.

The de-cluttering is coming together and I really appreciate the BARN for storage. Makes my life so much more simple (like my life is simple ... haha).

Garage Sale...

Well, the garage sale is over and done... Hurrah!!!

I didn't get any pix's, to tired to lift myself let alone my camera.

Mark and I were up and out before 7:30 a.m. and didn't finish until after 2 p.m. The people just kept coming and coming. It was fun to a point.

We sold t.v.'s, lamps, clothes and jeans, games, some Harry Potter stuff, old vhs movies, tons of kitchen stuff ... it was very refreshing to unload my junk and offer it to people looking for treasures!!! HaHa

What was left, Holly and I loaded into her van and my van and we drove to D.I. to share. We already tossed the garbage, so, it was all good items, with nothing broken.

We made a little over $100... and got to visit with a ton of interesting people. Mark was the 'banker' and he had fun too. Loves Money!!!

I was able to get the van into the garage for the first time since Feb. 07.

The new baby is born.

We have cousins here... Audree and Alexis. They are BOTH big sisters now!!!

Audree is A big sister too, just like Lexi. She has a little sister, Lillee who was born April 20, 2007. We don't have a pix yet of Lillee, but as soon as we do, we will upload it.

Emillee is doing fine. She and the girls are living here in the Salt Lake Valley. Things have been strained between John and Em due to the divorce.

We have 9 grandkids now.

Hurrah!!!

I will try to get a few photos together, probably not all in one spot. But, new and up to date!

We are Prepping the "For Sale" Sign

The bing cherry is loaded and the birds are starting

to come to get their share...

The tree is so heavy that the limbs are hanging very low to the ground.

Tanner climbed up to see if we had any 'bird nests'...

I am thinking it's one of his first trees...or else he isn't into HEIGHTS. (like his mom) :)

The apricot tree is loaded.

The rabbit hutch is empty.

The garden has onions and garlic...doing very well.

The pool has moved to Margaret's house... the pump looks lonely...

She is getting ready to get it up and filled with tons of water and the solar heater on... so we can swim and party.

I am now cleaning and tossing and getting things out of here.
Moving them to the BARN!!!
Can't sell the house with clutter, and we have a 3 car garage that we can't get 1 car into.
Left over Al's apartment...
Left over John's apartment...
Left over from my parent's house,
Chris' stuff, tons of stuff...

We are having a garage sell in the neighborhood during memorial day weekend... 10 families...

So watch our progress and give me ideas and hints to keep things moving...

The Pool Movement!

Well so much for getting the rest of the pictures taken of the yard and posted... Dah... the story of my life... tons of unfinished projects.

We did sell our pool to the Davis Family. John and I loaded up the van and I drove it over to Margaret's house. Margaret was waiting for me, in tears... It was a birthday at their house and as usual Mom was having a great day... NOT.

Hannah was the first out, next followed by Beth and Rachael. Gary helped unload, then Sam, Candas and Josh helped finish up.

Now, yesterday they got the sand delivered, and we bought the wheelbarrow last night and the wood to keep the sand in.

When they get that part prepped, then John will have to help put the liner up, hook up the pump :) and that is very heavy... then it's fill... yeehaw
