Trip to Arizona...Kai's Baptism...

The Visit was not long enough... But the time spent was sweet !!!

We were able to go to Kai Ostler's baptism on May 2, 2009.
He did a very nice job of being the host of the party too.

We were also able to visit Kirk and Dylan. We missed out visiting with Jessica, she was very busy. We were also able to visit with the Sadowski's who lived very close to the Ostler's...within a few miles to be exact!!! We really had a good visit with family and friends...

Holly, Tanner, Bennett, Alexis, Seth and I started out early on Thursday morning... and headed to Tempe, AZ... Lex and Seth were going along to visit with their dad, Kirk, and their brother Dylan. The rest of us were going to support Kai in his decision to get baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Rick, his dad, did both the baptism and conformation. His grandma and grandpa Pryde came from Marysville, CA along with Uncle Jarrett.

The weather was really hot and it was only May!!! It just happened to be close to 100 degree's this weekend... ugh...

Baby Bennett was only 5 1/2 months old. It was his first long trip. He did pretty well after we got the car seat set right and the Nanny (Lexi) in tune with his needs and wants... haha...

Tanner and Seth watched movies the whole trip down... Well, except when they were talking or eating... or napping...

Holly and Connie were the drivers... It wasn't a bad trip... Just a long day. It usually takes 12-14 hours, but with stopping to feed Bennett it took us 16 hours... So we decided to take the trip home in 2 days... Much better... Not shorter, just divided into 2 days... Pretty Smart of us... Unfortunately it cut Kirk's visit with his kids off by half a day...but it's not quanity but quality of time spent...
Over all it was fun... The kids were great... Swimming in the pool... Visiting friends and family...

THE END!!!

Swimming Lessons...

While waiting for class to start each student (any age) sit on the side and wait for their teacher to tell them what to do... They sit quietly and patiently until swim class starts...Hurrah!!!

Tanner, Adylin and Matthew in Swimming lessons at KOPFC... in Kearns right next to the Olympic Skating Rink...

I took some pix's of them in their class that ended May 1st. Tanner was able to move into 3-B and Ady moved into Tot 2...

They all are doing well... Tanner is working on his strokes and breathing... He can float, tread water, do the side stroke, working on his crawl... Doing very well indeed !!!

Those are really cute ear plugs Ady...to keep your ears dry and not get sick ears!!! Ady can do her bobs, blow bubbles... go under without help... jump off the side of the pool into her teachers hand... etc... loving the water...

Matthew can do his bobs too... He blows great bubbles =).... He jumps off the side of the pool with just a bit of help... He is doing very well for being a young 3.... only has had to do 1 time out for not listening to his teacher... Addie is a wonderful teacher... We Love You Addie!!!

Swimming lessons only have 3 rules... rule#1 is Be a good listener, for everyones safety.
Rule #2 is no potty in the pool, for health issues.
Rule #3 is HAVE FUN!!! The true reason for learning how to swim LOL :o

All 3 kids have rule #3 down pat... no problems... Ady still struggles with rule #1... she does very well with rule #2... Matt wears swimmers to help with rule #2.... Still learning and growing...

Bennett does well waiting for his siblings to be done in the pool.... He likes to be pushed in his stroller...everyonce in awhile he take a drink from the cow... but loves the stroller...
