Toodles from the Poodles - A Spring Day

The pre-schoolers came over while mom went to the eye doctor.  We all went out to explore the back yard and see what the spring will bring...

Ady and Matt can both swing by themselves this year.

They just want you to watch them... all the time...

See me!!!  Oh sure!!

The boys Rusty and Coco went exploring also and found many wonderful sites and smells... exciting!!

For a dog LOL..

We have the hiding spot... the potty spot... the double spot... the yucky spot... and the what on earth is this spot!!

We climbed trees and jumped out of trees... We found out we are big enough to swing from trees, all the while asking if this tree will fall over if they swing on it... Gramma and her waist... showed the tree could hold them (notice no camera shot of this).

Then we took a drive for the first time this year.
Gramma had to charge the battery up and away they went.

Of course I am not sure why Matt had to be the driver and Ady was happy to let him...
Dah... it's a stick and I wanna drive too...
It must be spring.

The forsythia's, cherry, apricot, and apple trees are starting to bud out... This is my favorite time of the year.  When all the bulbs bloom and the trees bud and yet it's NOT hot yet... It's still not green and beautiful but it shows that spring is coming and all will be normal.

My Dad's lilac's are going to bloom well this year...
Last year was our fist bloom... Hurrah!!!

My Japanese Iris are doing well and I transplanted many to different spots last fall...

Daffodils and Snowdrops

My crocus are big and lovely and bright...next to the dull dirt and left over leaves and stuff from the winter.

Life goes on and Spring will be good...

P.S.   I almost forgot the funny of the week... LOL

The Nemesis... Lucy Lu!!  She is a tricky girl.... baits Coco and then comes crashing down on him... So far Lucy has Coco fooled... that she is boss, but pretty soon the tides will turn and watch her scurry...
