January Family Time

 SOUP...SOUP...SOUP...YUMMY

So it has been decided that we do not visit enough with local family... oh yeah holidays, baptisms, a blessing here and there... but not just to visit and or play together...

Naomi... Love the socks... They go well with your basketball uniform...
You rock...

The year 2010 we are hoping to have 6 of these... Since Mike and I are down sizing... we thought we'd best have it at our house early in the year... Limbo may not be a good place as the year goes on...and on...and on.

The theme was soups...  Holly made a cheesy potato, John made corn chowder, and I made taco soup.  The Harrington's brought dessert, the Wilhit's brought rolls and the Tyson's sent salad... Kristy and family had to many things come up to be able to attend... They were sure missed.  Al had to work and John came up from the dungeon to grab a bite and smile (a rare thing somedays).  The thing about our get togethers is they are not a have to but if you can make it... Hurrah and if you can't... maybe next time... Relax.. Enjoy... Chill...

Naomi and Adylin were the photographers for the party.  They did well over all... I think Ady was a bit of a camera hog...but she is still young and learning the lessons of life.

London was the star of the night.

She was the cat and dog chaser... kept the pets on their toes and on the run...

Tanner and Isaac spent the majority of the time on the ps2 playing... not a peep to be heard most of the time...

Our photographers got one good photo of Gunner, but it was the back of his head...

Teens have it hard enough without adding a picture of just the back of his head.  He watched t.v. with the guys...had a small headache...and just chilled out.

I think our next dinner is at Tricia's in March... So... until then, enjoy the show.

Choco versus Carob...No Vote!!!

Tonight Rachael and Christie came over
and made cookies.
One made choco chip and
the other made carob chip...
Yum Yum!!!

CHOCOLATE CHIP

CAROB CHIP
They didn't test them to see if they had enough flour...but they are good anyway... I prefer sweetened carob chips in my cookies and these are not...but I can eat them and that is what counts... Thanks Rach and Christie.

HaHaHa
Today my doctor used the phrase "after we get your asthma under control"...So does that mean I have asthma or they are just treating me like I have asthma...

I got a new inhaler today... hurrah!!
It's not purple, but pink and really cool.  I love it already... Sure enough... the orange lip balm shows you how small this is... So far so good, but it takes a few days to notice a difference...

If it helps I am all in...

Tomorrow is the family get together...
Soup, soup, and more soup...
Hopefully it will be fun and relaxing...

While Rach and Christie were here they made the Tic Tac Toe game from Lowe's...
The game came with these cool tiles... Not x's but squares and the o's were circles.
It took great precision to stack them without falling over. Christie used her coordination
to carefully stack them so they wouldn't come crashing down upon her small frame.

The slight slant of this pix makes you think of the leaning tower of pisa... but
in truth the photo wasn't taken straight... and as we moved the center of the photo we got this great view...

Not to shabby...
Good Job!!!

It would seem that someones father is a chiropractor... note the spine shaped stack of this one... hum... Way to go girl
LOL...

Ok... It's a Friday night and I got bored with doing nothing...
So here is what I do on a Friday night...
It's fun...
Honest...
Good Night Sweetheart... It's time to go...
