MY BUCKET LIST!!! Yes really!!!

OK...

Can you believe that I made it to the year 2010...
That has such an odd sound to it.

Twenty Ten...

To close to Twenty-Five Twenty-Five...
From the song in the 60's.

Ahhhhhhh....

SO...
I've decided to make a bucket list!!!
That is a list of things I would like to do before I kick the bucket!!!
I will continue to add to this list as I think of things I have always wanted to do...
  1. Visit Hawaii with my hubby.
  2. Take a cruise with my hubby.
  3. Take a class in photography.
  4. Make a new recipe a month for a year...Thanks to Kathy I have a really good one I am going to try for Patti... won't that be fun
  5. Attend a Josh Groban concert...I even have a good friend picked out to go with already, right Leslie
  6. Finish Mark's Photo Albums (I have about 30 yrs to go)...for a quick update I had 48 yrs to do so I have done some of it...
  7. Update my genealogy for the church current for 5 generations...wouldn't be so hard if people would just quit having those babies...
  8. Make my own recipe book (been working on it for 3 yrs)...already in the computer and have the booklet I am using...what is the problem getting it all together eh???
  9. Visit every state in the USA...could even drive most of them and have a place to stay when going to Flordia, Maine, West Virginia, & Washington...
  10. Attend every Temple in Utah...Only have most of them left to go...even the Oquirrah one too...LOL
  11. Water Ski and not in the canals being pulled by a truck you ID cousins
  12. Snorkel in the ocean
  13. Day Hike the John Muir trail in the Sierra's with my camera
  14. Go snowmobiling in Yellowstone Nat Park
  15. Visit Calgary Canada
  16. Get my passport so we can travel outside of the USA
  17. Go to England and Scotland
  18. See the White Cliffs of Dover
  19. Write my Dad's stories and put into a booklet
  20. Go Deep Sea Fishing (bigger than a trout, OK)

Ok... that isn't a bad start to the list.

Some I can do without cost and those are the ones I will work on first...
If you can think of some I may have suggested over the years... email and let me know.
OK... a few of you out there may have one or two suggestions!!

Christmas Choir 2009

Tanner has been practicing in the choir since the start of the school year.  The school was full and if the fire marshal was there he would have emptied the place... for sure... The place was packed with standing room only.

I took the one of the the Poppie and Bennett...

Ady is the photographer for Makaylee and Matthew was the photographer for Ady and her bear dressed like a penguin...

We sat with the Huntsman's and the Sweet's and Tanner was lucky to have all his grandparents present but Grandpa Warner.

Grandma Warner and Grandpa and Grandma Strong along with Bennett...

Alyssa, Tanner and Grandma Leslie you are so cute of course Tanner could look at the photographer... well, maybe huh???

Oh Matt you must try to focus better...
I see what you were really focusing on... The reindeer... not the Gramma... LOL...

If one gets anymore jolly and the other gets anymore grumpy... We might have fun... Right now Matt thinks he should go in our van to our house at all times... Because he wants to or says so.  He is 3 and very opinionated.

Time to go home and get something done for the day... My days are usually done by noon... Then it's time to sit and crochet or finish up a project.

Following a 1 yr old for 5 minutes... LOL

I helped Holly with the kids while she went to Adylin's Christmas party at pre-school.  Mr. Bennett decide to go into destruction mode and I grabbed my camera... Enjoy!!!

He has already dumped all the pop up notes by the phone... He is looking for more... Sorry luv...
The phone is already up higher...

He found the dice, but would rather have the glass vases... funny kid

He is trying to shred the paper... I unplug it, but he doesn't stop trying...
Almost done with the 5 minutes run...now he is almost tall enough to reach the stuff on the table... Oh my!!!

Caught in the act of playing in the dog food and water bowl... The temptation wasn't put up this time... He is going to learn to pick up his mess soon... After all he is 1 already LOL

Yearning to watch tv with the others... NOT... I took him down there just a few minutes before and he ran up to the kitchen AGAIN !!!   So up he stays... for a bit

On the move and Gramma is running behind...
I stopped at the 5 minute mark so I could do some clean-up before I started lunch for the kindergartner.

He is trying to move the papers off the stool so he can climb up and get on the table...
I had to put the stool up...
He is so smart he has it already figured out.
He now heads right to the stool and climbs quickly before anyone can stop him...
What is next for him... we will just have to wait and see...

I am sure there is more to follow for Mr. Bennett... He is full of vim and vinegar...

I love my grand children... They are busy, but I would do it again tomorrow... Hugs

December 2009

FYI: Found out I can put up my tree and decorations for the holidays...
So I am going to build a page this month and keep adding until it's done (when ever that is eh?)

Dec. 8, 2009
The view out the front door...

It snowed big time today and John has been out using the snow blower for hours.

Poor Rusty couldn't find a place to potty that wasn't to deep... to leave his mark of yellow snow without freezing his body parts... LOL

Mike decided to give up on the commute before he even started.   I am dipping some cookies besides sewing dollies and cleaning the house... Yup a regular day for me... hehe   More tomorrow LOL
